Although it was made even the more special when the ecstatic crowd were treated to a surprise appearance from her husband Jay-Z on stage.

The rapper walked out to support his wife and mother of daughter Blue Ivy.

And they soon had the audience cooing as they snuggled for a touching kiss together.

But it was back to business as they both took to their mics and belted out Beyonce’s hit Crazy In Love, which seemed to mimic exactly how the pair are still feeling.

Beyonce grinned widely as Jay-Z tenderly put his arm around her waist and leaned in for a kiss on her cheek once more.

And the surprise appearance made it an extra special night for the fans who went crazy in Twickenham Stadium.

One source told the MailOnline: ‘He came on and the crowd went absolutely crazy. No-one was expecting it. He gave her a big kiss on the cheek as he walked on stage.

The Hung Up hitmaker was one of the A-list stars to lend her support to the charity gig – which was organised by fashion house Gucci’s Chime for Change female empowerment campaign – at London’s Twickenham Stadium on Saturday and urged people to join her in changing the world through education.

The 54-year-old star took the stage, saying: ‘I keep telling people I want to start a revolution, but my revolution doesn’t involve bloodshed and violence. My revolution starts with education. My revolution is about achieving a higher level of consciousness, but this cannot start without education.

‘We cannot change this world, nor begin to treat each other with human dignity, without an education. Let tonight be the beginning of this revolution because education is not a luxury, it is a basic human right.

‘I invite you all to join my revolution of love. Join me tonight. The revolution of love starts here.’
